Watch: CTE Students at Legacy Options High School Celebrate Women in Construction Week

Students played fun games, including building spaghetti towers, to help facilitate imagination and creativity, and grow their interest in CTE programming!

CTE (Career and Technical Education) students at Legacy Options HS had some special visitors last week.

In honor of national Women in Construction Week, speakers came to present to the Construction Essentials class at Legacy, to education students on what careers in construction really look like.

Legacy students heard from speakers from DPS, as well as speakers from our contractor teams, Eidos Architects and Adolfson and Peterson Construction.

Legacy Options High School will receive classroom renovations, thanks to funding made possible by the 2020 Bond, that will help grow the construction program at Legacy Options HS for all students interested in careers in construction.

Eidos and A&P will begin construction on the construction classroom renovation this summer, and it will be completed in time for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
