🖋️Earlier this week, Montbello community members took a moment to celebrate the completion of the first stage of construction on the neighborhood's long-awaited new comprehensive high school through a beam signing ceremony.🏗️The exposed beams will symbolize the strength and partnership it took to start the Reminagine Montbello project while displaying words of encouragement to motivate future students throughout the day. 🤝
“Reimagine Montbello will set the tone for the Far Northeast, and speaks for itself about what we are able to do when we work together,” says Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero. “The strength we have as a district is revealed when together we set our minds and our hearts on a shared goal. That goal is and always has been to put students first.”
➡️This project is the district's largest bond project to date, with $139.5 million coming from the 2020 Bond. Thank you, Denver voters!
